Making an investment

Subscribing to a fund is a deliberate, documented step. You choose the fund and the amount, sign the offering documents, and units are issued to you at the fund price for the relevant period.

How it runs

  1. Choose the fund and the amount

Each fund page carries its strategy, what it holds and its published performance. Read the offering documents alongside it, because those govern and the fund page does not.

  2. Sign the subscription documents

Signing happens inside the platform, so there is nothing to print, scan or email. You are agreeing to the operating agreement and the subscription agreement, and confirming the representations in them, so read before you sign rather than after.

  3. Your subscription is reviewed

We check that onboarding is complete and the funds are in place. This is a compliance step and it is not automatic.

  4. Units are issued

Once accepted, units appear in your portfolio and your holding is recorded. From that point you participate in the fund income.

How your units are priced

Units are issued at the fund value per unit for the applicable period, not at a price you negotiate and not at whatever the value was when you first looked. The fund value is struck on the fund books, and a subscription submitted before a period closes settles once that period value is final.

What to expect afterwards

  • Your holding appears in your portfolio, with your unit count.
  • Your signed documents are stored in your account and stay available to you.
  • You begin participating in distributions for periods after your units were issued.
  • Your holding is reflected on the public ledger, which you can check independently as described in viewing your holding on chain.
