On chain

Viewing your holding on chain

Your ownership of a fund is recorded on a public ledger, so you do not have to take our word for what you hold. Anyone can inspect the record using an explorer we do not operate and cannot alter.

This is the part of the structure that a paper certificate cannot offer. The register of who owns what is not a spreadsheet on an ADR server that you have to trust. It is a public record, and the tools for reading it belong to third parties.

Look up the fund asset

Each fund that is issued on chain has an asset code and an issuing address. The pair identifies it exactly. An asset code on its own is not unique, so always match the issuer as well.

  1. Open the asset on an independent explorer

View ADRDivTREIF on StellarExpert. StellarExpert is run independently of ADR. We cannot edit what it shows you, which is the point of citing it.

  2. Check the issuer matches the address above

Confirm the issuing address on the page matches the one in the table, character for character. Anyone can create an asset using any code they like, so the issuer is what makes it ours.

  3. Cross check against the issuer declaration

The organisation file published at our issuance partner names every asset we treat as live. If an asset code is not in that file, it is not a current ADR fund.

What you can and cannot see

A public ledger is public. That is a feature for verification and a limit on privacy, and it is worth being precise about which is which.

  • Visible to anyone: the number of units in issue, how many accounts hold the asset, and the movements between those accounts.
  • Not visible to anyone: your name, your address, your contact details or any document you submitted during onboarding. None of that is written to the ledger. It stays in the platform, under the access controls described in verifying your identity.

So the ledger proves that a holding exists and that it moved when we said it moved. It does not tell an observer who the holder is. Connecting an address to a person requires information that only ADR holds.

Your own position

The explorer shows the fund in aggregate. For your specific holding, unit count and cost basis, use your portfolio inside the platform. That is the record that carries your subscription history and the figures your statements are built from.
